Pragmaticum, the student carriage club, founded in 1964 the North Netherlands Livery Stable
to keep inside the town of Groningen a working livery stable.
They bought the coaches from the last stable keeper and aquired fine exemplares from every where over Europe,
the very old ones went to the National Carriages museum, that they founded before in 1958. in the nearby castle of Nienoord in Leek
Three times a year they have a coach trip in the surroundings.
The flat, but beautifull Groninger landscape, towards the Groninger Borgen, small castles left over from the middle ages and 18th or 19th century.
The coaches are now in the foundation "De Koetsewagen"
wich you can support by becoming a member-donator.
